• Maintains integrity with surrounding blocks
• Any ground settlements will not dislodge an individual block
• Resists uplift forces when used in channels or in sludge drying areas
• Security against uplift by non-authorized persons is improved
• Load transfer is direct from block to block and not via the jointing sand alone.
• Jointing sand is less susceptible to blow out or wash out
• Added resistance to uplift on steep slopes.

  Ground preparation is important as any unprepared ground can cause: ‘Pooling, Sagging paving and Loose bricks.

  • Step 3 – Laying the base materials 

  Depending on what paver you’re laying, it will decide what base material you’ll use.

  • Step 4 – Laying the paving 

  Once the base material has been laid and screeded.

  • Step 5 – Grouting 

  Once all the paving has been laid, you’re ready to grout.
