The Urban Range Offers Different Sizes:

• Urban XXL

The XXL Urban Paver is non-bevelled and designed to look elegant and smooth.

These pavers were designed to lay “butt-jointed”.

This eliminates large concrete jointing gaps between pavers.

The XXL urban paver is ideal for easy trafficking of shopping trolleys and carts at shopping centres.

Tips & Advice:

We don`t recommend plain grey XXl pavers.

Plain grey pavers can vary significantly in terms of colour as it derives their colour.

Solely from aggregates and cement whose colour is not always consistent.

A mottled grey like our Granite colour is a much more practical colour for these big pavers.

These pavers weigh more than 100kg each and are difficult to install.

We have special tools to simplify their handling.

The XXL Paver is more fragile than standard paving bricks.

Be aware and allow more for breakages when ordering.

• Urban Large

The Large Urban Paver is designed for smooth trafficking of trolleys at shopping complexes.

But at the same time creates a uniquely contemporary look to complement modern residential architecture.

Tips & Advice:

Installation of large pavers is more difficult, we recommend that you use an experienced contractor.

Experience showed us that imperfections are accentuated more when using large pavers.

Imperfections are less obvious when using smaller pavers.

Therefore, care must be taken when installing large pavers.

• Urban Slimline

The Urban Slimline paver is part of our Urban Range of pavers, this paver is a new and unique design by Bosun.

It is rectangular in shape, larger than standard paving blocks and comes in granite, marble and beneficiated finishes.

Create contemporary linear laying patterns with the Slimline Urban paver.

Tips & Advice:

Good Earthworks is the most important aspect of any paving project.

Any paving will fail when the layers beneath the paving blocks are not done according to specification.

Large paver are more difficult to install.

Correct jointing of paving blocks is as important as the quality of the blocks you choose.

• Medium & Small

Urban Medium and Small pavers are non-bevelled and are available in granite and marble colours.

These pavers can be used together with Urban Large or Urban Slimline to create unique patterns.

Tips & Advice

The use of a large plate compactor is recommended for levelling of combination patterns.

Small compactors will bed smaller pavers deeper than large pavers.

Unbeveled paver are more difficult to install.

Urban paver are manufactured from imported material, these are not just any standard paving bricks.

More care should be taken when handling these pavers on site.
